i found yemaya and my insight became nautical

she says, you’re every ounce of diamond you think you are

you could cleanse the whole world with your holy water

i became a mermaid with the reclamation of my words

something unhuman and never seen before

i don’t think you’ve ever seen someone as rare nor beautiful

as myself when i let the real me show
