i discovered i was beautiful the first time i fell in love

being isolated, i never noticed my humanity grew dull

its easy to be perfect without a challenge

but i was flawless everytime i fell into his hands, no need to be callous

i was the sun and a prodigy at love’s most coveted talent

taking her rays and transmuting lights into diamonds

now my baby’s smile is timeless and ultraviolet

and every spell i whisper at night has tattooed him as mine

i found i was a sex enchantress and a ghost

a spirit in a mirror’s portal, divinity’s humanly host

i saw the future in a way that would make anyone write a poem

i cover him in love that makes it a miracle to know him, he can’t stop glowing

i knew i was beautiful because i couldn’t stop seeing the beauty outside of me

so even when things go wrong, always in love is where you’ll find me

the feeling has broken me open yet somehow brings me home

he always tells me i’m so beautiful, now i truly know
