I feel like you are starting a new life today and you are whole but you may be questioning if you made the right decision to enjoy it alone. I think you may be dealing with the fallacy that success has to look a certain way, including big celebrations with a bunch of people.

A lot of people have people that they love in their life who they get to share their flowers with. But a lot of people keep others around because they are afraid of being alone, even if those people mistreat them. You are someone who does not have leeches on your team so it can appear lonely when you know you’re not actually missing those people, you just think that someone should be there. If having success, but no one to share it with bothers you, find ways to enjoy your success that bring you genuine joy so that you’re not focused on who you don’t have.

you’re actually doing everything you want. If you’re lonely book a resort vacation and talk to people at the bar. Make friends with those you already have access to. it’s time to build the life in the tribe that you always wanted instead of dreaming about leeches coming back because they’re all that you have. Your life has expanded and so the quality of love should. Don’t look back because it’s convenient if the convenience means misery.
