someone could be quite upset with you because their attempts to make you insecure haven’t worked lol. someone understands that the only way you can be stopped is by mental intimidation or fear. you could be doing something that they said wouldn’t work or feel is corrupting you and succeeding, or just being liberated by taking this risk. especially if this is financially related and you’re worried about being able to be independent. its almost like you wouldn’t be independent without this but they talked you out of it because they said they wouldn’t support you if you did it. but now that you took the chance you have the independence anyways so it doesn’t matter if you have support.

someone literally feels upset because you’ve taken control. they feel like you stole it from them… but it was yours? but this is the reality of this person, they only said you shouldn’t because they knew what it would do to your ability. im actually thinking of the color purple and shug returning celie’s letters and it leading to her finding her children and coming into her own life. “until you do right by me everything you touch is gonna crumble.”

especially if you did domestic work this person doesn’t know what they’re going to do without you lol. but this cycle of control is over. its also interesting because they would have to pay someone to do the things you did for free. tell them get to looking!
