today was the day i let you love me 

your kiss blew breath into my wildest dreams

i let love conquer all material things

and it sent my soul on a cloud into a star

out here on the love frequency

i can recognize the divinity

the fire in your sex that strikes me 

the power in the words i speak 

more like lightning how the world sent the red string

another green oasis acquired, a new dimension’s landing 

heart full as the pretty lips that inspire my poetry 

or a generation of genius who needs a revolutionary 

im a phoenix that is born out of true love 

when there are no more tears left from doves

just a purple sky that begins to reign diamonds

as the collective meets divine timing and finally ascends

the magic you’ve restored, dormant fireworks in our bones

purpose in my aura, you finally make me feel known 

no longer neptunian, everyone can see the glow

the lavender haze lifts me, i awaken to your throne 

loving you was completing the prophecy 

the bible is also poetry, may these words sow a seed 

that loving you will be the first love carnival 

a new culture where black love is the greatest of all 

that the black mind is known as greatness in human beings 

now, nothing but my confession to you and brownskin between 

tonight, i’m going to love you like i mean it
